It is with heavy heart that I must announce that my shop will be operate with restrictions from 30. March 2020 until further notice. The Deutsche Post announced that it is facing restrictions or delays on shipping of goods to international destinations. Letters are not affected by this problem at the moment of writing this. The situation is caused because of lock downs in certain countries, diminished number of flight connections, increased controls at customs and limited delivery services by local postal services. While services in Germany are continuing to work normally, shipping to some countries in Europe (Italy, Spain, France, for example) is now very limited.
Sometimes the restrictions are present only for certain postal codes and other times, the limitations affect whole countries. This would make it impossible for me to list which restrictions apply in my shop.
Moreover, I ship all of my sales using a specific postal product only available for businesses, and the Deutsche Post has cancelled its availability until further notice for the USA, where most of my customers live. I can continue to offer postcards or small prints, which can be sent as documents in a normal envelope, but there may be delays on this as well.
