JAPANESE STAB or SIDE BOOKBINDING
This traditional way of binding pages to form a book originated in China, Korea and Japan. It is a great introduction to book binding as no stitching or folding is required. It is simple and only thread and paper are required.
This type of binding is perfect for books you flip through, starting with loose sheets such as sketch or scrapbooks, as well as photo books. The number of holes and the pattern in the binding can be changed -and there are several options to choose from.
Materials: You can choose among different thread colours for the stitches on the spine, as well as different decorative papers for the covers. Inside pages are blank, high quality paper. All materials and tools are included.
Final product to take home: An A5 book in landscape format (binding on the short side).
Duration: 2 hours, from 15 to 17.00h.
